Rebates of up to $200!

Clothes washer purchased on or after January 1, 2008
Save Water. Save Energy. Save Money.
New! Purchase and install a high-efficiency clothes washer on or after January 1, 2008 from the list of qualifying residential clothes washers and get a combined rebate from Sonoma County Water Agency and Pacific Gas & Electric (PG&E) for up to $200, depending on the efficiency of your new washer. One rebate application. One rebate check. Multiple benefits!
The SCWA-PG&E cooperative program applies to qualifying clothes washers purchased on or after January 1, 2008. SCWA does not offer rebates on clothes washers containing silver ion technology. Please consult the list of qualifying residential clothes washers before purchasing your new washer.
With the combined rebate you can save up to $200 immediately, and much more over the life of your washer! The highest efficiency washers qualify for a $200 rebate ($125 from SCWA plus $75 from PG&E). These washers use 13 gallons per load or less, compared to almost 40 gallons for standard washers. The next highest efficiency washers qualify for the $125 rebate ($90 from SCWA plus $35 from PG&E). These washers use 18 gallons per load or less. Multiply that by the number of washloads per year in your household and the savings in water, energy and dollars add up. High-efficiency clothes washers also require less detergent (more savings) and are gentler on your clothes (even more savings)!
