    Our Water Is Clean...

The Sonoma County Water Agency has launched a public awareness campaign called "Our Water Is."  The goal of this campaign is to increase public awareness about the Russian River Biological Opinion.  The Russian River Biological Opinion is a federally mandated 15-year blueprint to save endangered fish and ensure our water supply.  Learn more about the Biological Opinion.

    Our Water Is Reliable...

    Our Water is Reliable

More than 600,000 residents in portions of Sonoma and Marin counties rely on the Russian River water supply system for their drinking water. Implementing the Russian River Biological Opinion, a federally mandated 15-year blueprint to save endangered fish, will ensure our future generations can rely on today’s water resources.

    Our Water Is Essential...

    Our Water is Essential

Water is essential for life – including endangered species of fish in the Russian River. The river and its tributaries, including Dry Creek, are home to endangered coho salmon, and threatened Chinook salmon and steelhead. Implementing the Russian River Biological Opinion, a federally mandated 15-year blueprint to help save these fish and ensure our water supply, will restore the same habitats that provide drinking water to more than 600,000 residents in portions of Sonoma and Marin counties.

    Our Water Is Sustainable...

    Our Water is Sustainable

Our water supply system is environmentally friendly because it relies on the environment such as the Russian River and Dry Creek, not just pipes, to move water from reservoirs to your tap. Implementing the Russian River Biological Opinion, a federally mandated 15-year blueprint to save endangered fish and ensure our water supply, will protect our environment while providing drinking water to more than 600,000 residents in portions of Sonoma and Marin counties.

Our Water Is Clean...Our Water is Clean

Our water is clean because it is naturally filtered through gravel from beneath the Russian River and exceeds all water quality standards.  The Russian River Biological Opinion, a federally mandated 15-year blueprint to save endangered fish and ensure our water supply, will help restore the Russian River and its tributaries so we can continue to deliver clean drinking water to more than 600,000 residents in portions of Sonoma and Marin counties.

    Our Water Is Priceless...

    Our Water is Priceless

A gallon of tap water from the Sonoma County Water Agency costs a fraction of a penny ($.002). The Water Agency provides affordable, clean drinking water to more than 600,000 residents in portions of Sonoma and Marin counties. The cost of your drinking water includes implementing the Russian River Biological Opinion, a federally mandated 15-year blueprint to save endangered fish and ensure our water supply.
