The Water Agency has a staff of professionals with a broad range of skills, all of whom work together to provide for the water supply, flood protection, and sanitation needs of Sonoma County residents. The Water Agency is organized into five divisions under the direction of the General Manager and Assistant General Managers: Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and Resource Planning, Environmental Resources and Public Affairs, and Administrative Services.
The Water Agency Business Operations Plan presents the Agency's staffing plan to address changing conditions regarding the services it provides. The plan was approved by the Water Agency's Board of Directors on November 3, 2009. The Water Agency, like other public agencies, has been affected by the financial downturn and faces the need to address new challenges with greater funding constraints.
