Mandatory Time Off: December 23, 2011 - January 2, 2012
Water Agency offices will be closed December 23, 2011 until January 2, 2012 and will reopen Tuesday, January 3, 2012
Many Sonoma County offices will be closed December 23, 27, 28, 29, and 30 due to a Mandatory Time Off (MTO) program adopted by the county to save money and to help balance the county’s budget. County employees are taking 5 unpaid days off this fiscal year. (December 26 and January 2 are Holidays, and offices will be closed on these days as well.) This time period was selected for MTO because it typically has a lower demand for services than other times of the year.
We appreciate your patience and understanding during the time that our office is closed.
Certain Water Agency services, such as water delivery, flood protection and sanitation services will continue without interruption.
Below is the impact to the Water Agency's operations during the MTO:
- The Water Agency's administration office (404 Aviation) will be closed.
- The Water Agency's operations building will remain partially open.
- The Water Agency's 24-hour operator's desk hotline (707-523-1070) will remain open.
- The Flood Forecast Hotline (707-526-4768) will continue to be updated. The flood hotline is a recording that provides updates on local river conditions. The recordings are updated by the Water Agency as conditions change.
