Public Outreach Program
The Public Outreach Program for the new water supply agreement is made up of several components, which include workshops and online activities.
Workshops These Workshops include facilitated discussion of the issues, ways of addressing those issues, etc. The consultant is present to help guide the process and
discuss ideas raised by workshop attendees. The intent is that these workshops provide an opportunity for the public to become engaged in providing
comments regarding developing the new Water Supply Agreement.
Negotiation Sessions Negotiation sessions involve discussion, debate and voting on issues by the parties that will sign the new
agreement. Sessions are generally held on the fourth Monday (9:00 a.m. to noon) at the Laguna Room located at the Subregional Water Reclaimation
Facility located near the sotherly end of Llano Road. The public is welcome to attend these sessions and time is made available at the beginning and close of each session for public comment.
